The National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET) is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India. 

Its purpose is to improve the quality of education and training in India by accrediting educational institutions, vocational training organizations, and skill certification bodies. 

Activities of NABET's:

Process

The National Accreditation Board of Education & Training (NABET) is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India that accredits schools in India. 

The process for school accreditation through NABET:

·         Self-assessment: The school conducts a self-assessment and submits it to NABET along with the application form and fees. 

·         Readiness visit: The school prepares for and hosts a visit by NABET. 

·         Assessment: A team of assessors visits the school and submits their observations. 

·         Corrective action: The school takes corrective action for the observations raised by the assessors and submits supporting documents to the NABET portal. 

·         Final assessment: NABET proposes a final assessment, where an assessor reviews the school's facilities and management system to verify compliance with standards. 

·         Accreditation certificate: If NABET accepts the corrective and preventive action, the school receives an accreditation certificate.
